We take our responsibilities seriously at Choose a Challenge, and we've teamed up with Clear to develop a robust and sustainable environmental policy for our company. Following an independent audit covering our day-to-day running, as well as every one of our challenges, we adopted a strict policy to “Reuse, Reduce and Recycle” in all of our business activities.

Using the most accurate carbon calculators available, based on the most up-to-date understanding of carbon dioxide emissions, and matching the factors used by the UK Government and the Department for Energy and Climate Change (DECC), we carefully calculated our carbon footprint. We then offset this footprint through Clear, achieving Quality Assurance Scheme (QAS) Certification as a Carbon Neutral Company.

Beneficiary projects include the creation of a Biomass Electricity and Hydroelectric Plant in Brazil, a renewable energy Geothermal plant in Nicaragua and a Bagasse Cogeneration facility in Ecuador.

Where's the catch?

There isn't one. We take the cost of carbon offsetting out of our share, not tack it onto your price. Additionally, we're the only UK charity experience agency to carbon offset all of their activities, so you know that when you make a booking with us, you've made the environmentally responsible choice.
