Cycle Vietnam & Cambodia
Vietnam has shaken off the turbulent events of the 20th century to emerge into this millennium as one of the worlds ‘must-see’ destinations. Its lively cities, beautiful coastline and lush green countryside make it an ideal place to explore and this challenge, crossing the Mekong delta by bike, gives you the opportunity to push your limits whilst gaining a unique insight to this fascinating nation.
For a small country, Cambodia encompasses a diverse range of terrain, scenery, history and experiences. Breathtaking monuments of the past unfold before your eyes and unspoiled nature is everywhere you turn. Modern Asia sits comfortably beside the simplicity of local life.
Siem Reap boasts the status of a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is host to one of the new Seven Wonders of the World. The Angkor Wat is the biggest, best preserved, most intricately designed and awe inspiring temple in Indochina, a jewel in the crown of Angkor’s extensive palace complex. Like most temples in Asia, it is best seen at dawn or during sunset, when the colourful sun-lit sky accentuates the five towers for an exquisite scene.
A cycle challenge that encompasses the stunning scenery, vibrant history & local character of these two countries is one not to be missed!
