DUCK 3 Peaks 2010
One of DUCK's most popular challenges is the 3 Peaks Challenge, in which students attempt to scale Ben Nevis (1344m, 4406ft), Scafell Pike (978m, 3209ft) and Snowdon (1085m, 3560ft): the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales respectively. This tests the mental and physical strength of every participant. The catch? To climb all three in 24 hours. The reason? To raise £9,000 for Teesdale and Weardale Search and Mountain Rescue Team.
