Event Management

Choose a Challenge's earliest roots lie in events management: our very first event, The Great Warwick Jump, got us hooked on the charity challenges way of life and we've not looked back since. We've learnt a great deal since then, and now run many of our own charity fundraising events for universities and corporate clients, offering a wealth of experience in a number of event fields.

Notwithstanding the constantly increasing range of offerings, the formula remains the same: we can and will take care of everything. From transport to tickets; food to fundraising opportunities; automatic paperwork to accommodation. If it can be done before the day, you can bet that we've done it. Meaning that all you need to remember is your sandwiches. Unless you asked us to sort that.

The most obvious benefit we hold in this regard is the relationships we maintain with our challenge providers. We ensure that we have all the insurance and risk assessment documentation for each location on file, as well as striving to maintain strong personal relationships with the owners and staff.

Achievements

Whilst the bounds of what we can do are limited only by time and weather, here are some of our past achievements:

Achieved the UK record for the most tandem skydives done in one day (137!);
Providing rolling transport, across multiple collection points, for hundreds of people over 48 hours;
Streamlining departure information with a “check-in” team;
Dedicated event information brochures for participants;
Managing an open air stage and public address system set-up;
Streaming live event information screens across sites;
On site entertainment, including sports equipment and film screenings;
Ad-hoc accommodation in poor weather for one hundred people.

Video

We can provide a great range of High Definition video equipment and trained cameramen to put together a superb charity event video for you, and call on our extensive network of collaborators to reach any desired scale. We're lucky enough to have an award-winning TV and film editor as part of our team (Simon Smith), so if you'd like your video to benefit from his expertise then please let us know.

If you're interested in a skydiving event, then we can combine forces with aerial cameramen to feature their superb work in the skies. Trust us when we say that they have a difficult job, but the results they get are incredible!

Photography

Capturing the enjoyment and successes of our challenges is a must for us. As a matter of course, we send a cameraman to our bigger events, to capture the enthusiasm and excitement on the day - taking both formal group shots and informal closeups. We own some fantastic equipment and can call on some real professionals, who will know the challenges as well as how the camera works.

Whilst we can provide on site image editing and purchase for event participants, we're more than happy to provide the photos to challenge participants for free, through our Facebook page. This means that participants can “tag” themselves and share the images with their friends and family - all with your cause or company's t-shirt on.

Corporate Clients

We've worked with some big names in the past, to bring our services to the corporate sector. Corporate Social Responsibility and Community Investment programmes are often distinctly individual to the company in question, so we liaise with our clients to ensure that their challenge stays on brand, on focus and on budget.

Some of our previous clients include Deloitte, HSBC Graduate Communities Committee (GCC) and BT.
