FREE charity skydiving

Ever wanted to do a parachute jump? How does a FREE charity skydive sound?

It's pretty much impossible to beat the adrenaline rush and excitement that goes through the mind of a first time skydiver. The rumbling drone of the aircraft engine, the cramped camaraderie and elaborate handshakes of the experienced jumpers, the icy taste of fresh air and the realisation that someone's just opened the plane door, and you're damn high up... Build up a good mental picture of this bit. You'll think about this again.

Regardless of what type of skydive or parachute jump you choose, you'll be exiting a perfectly good aircraft and accelerating towards the ground at speeds approaching 120 miles per hour. Imagine standing on top of a car on a motorway (if you can) and you're getting the idea. Except that the view will take your breath away (not literally) and the speed will knock your socks off. Opening a parachute means that you then turn this daredevil belly-to-earth skydive into a smooth, controlled descent under canopy, towards a welcoming landing zone.

The euphoria and emotion you'll experience as you touch down on a beautiful green lawn, having technically just fallen out of a plane, won't leave you for weeks. If our experiences are anything to go by, you'll remember skydiving for the rest of your life, and sometimes catch yourself grinning madly at the recollection.

Most importantly, you'll have raised valuable funds for your charity of choice by doing the skydive. Fundraising is a doddle when you tell people what you've opted to go through, and as long as you raise a specified amount, your charity will pay for your jump! Free charity skydiving? Can't say fairer than that.

Skydive for free

As charity skydives are such a crowd pleaser, they qualify for our Sponsorship Funded payment method. This means that you are able to take part for free, as long as you raise the “sponsorship requirement”, set by your charity, before the “sponsorship deadline”, usually 14 days before your challenge. If all goes well, your charity will pay the cost of your challenge from the sponsorship you have raised, with the remainder going to support your charity's important work.

Please note: you will be alerted during booking if your charity does not consent to Sponsorship Funded challenges, in which case you must select the Self Funded method.

For more information, please consult this article on Payment Options in our Support section.
