WARWICK JAILBREAK

With teams blagging their way as far as Romania, Switzerland, Portugal & Spain this year, a huge congratulations to everyone who took part, battling against all sorts of miserable weather conditions and keeping a cheery attitude to charm their across country and continent all in aid of Practical Action.

An early start at 7am for registrations and to collect their items at the Warwick Student’s Union, teams were gathered at the rainy Piazza for a 9am break out armed with t-shirts, foam thumbs and set challenges.

The mini challenges along the way varied from making a homeless person happy, transporting their Jailbreak egg for the full 36 hours to kissing strangers on the lips – feedback has been brilliant and everybody had a great time.

To find out how far people managed to hitch this year, check out the Warwick Jailbreak page.  To date the teams have raised a whopping £12,900 for Practical Action with more on its way.

A big thank you to the Jailbreak Committee who oversaw the event, working in to the evil hours of the night to ensure every body taking part in the event were safe.

Like the sound of the event? Why not join the Hertfordshire Jailbreak on the 16th November 2012 or check out or other hitchhiking challenges.

Peace out x
