Here at Choose a Challenge, we are always on the lookout for outgoing, dedicated students to join our Challenges family.
Our challenge leaders are an integral part of our work. The role of challenge leader will give you amazing adventure travel, lifelong friends, unforgettable memories and transferable skills to put on your CV - as well as being part of a movement that raises over £1,000,000 for our fantastic charity partners each year.
Do you think you have what it takes to join them?
What does a challenge leader do?
As a challenge leader, you’ll be central to the success of the challenge. With our help, you’ll make a recruitment plan specific to your campus and we’ll provide you with all the materials to help you recruit a team of fellow students.
Once your team are on board, you will work alongside the Student Fundraising Officers at your chosen charity to provide one-to-one and group support to help get everyone to their fundraising targets.
Our team will provide you with all the support for the trip itself, including travel advice, training, pre-departure briefings, and more.
What's in it for me?
As a challenge leader, you will not only be heading out on the trip of a lifetime, but having discounts on your own fundraising target and gaining all-important leadership experience. We will support you to make the most of your role, and gain transferable skills that’ll make your CV stand out from the crowd.
How many students can put on their CV that they’ve led a team of their peers on a European marathon, or overseas trek, and raised thousands for charity in the process? Plus, who knows, we might end up taking you on ourselves!
Making a real difference
The challenge isn’t just about making it to the summit, or the finish line – it’s about raising crucial funds for incredible charities. You will be responsible for helping your team meet fundraising targets. Not to be taken lightly, we want people who care about making a difference.
There’s no better feeling than knowing what that money can do, and the fact you raised it. Why not check out some of the work our amazing charity partners do here.
