Statement: on Childreach International
As some of our participants may be aware, the charity Childreach International recently ceased operations.
A portion of Childreach International's income came from running international adventure challenges much like our own. This development has left participants and fundraisers for the charity to be unsure about the implications for their booked trips to destinations including Kilimanjaro and Machu Picchu.
Information for Choose a Challenge Participants:
We would like to reassure all participants currently booked on a Choose a Challenge trip, that these developments at Childreach International have no impact on your trip.
Your upcoming trip is in no way affected by Childreach International's ceasing of operations. We only partner with charities on a sound financial footing, and your Choose a Challenge trip is 100% covered under our ATOL, which we have held for a number of years.
If you are a participant on one of our challenges and you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us.
Information for Participants on Trips with Childreach International:
If you are a participant on a challenge with Childreach International, and are worried about the implications of the above developments on your trip, we'd like to help how we can.
Our team are currently working hard to see exactly what we can do to help any of Childreach International's challenge participants who are now stranded without a trip.
If you're a RAG, or a participant on a trip that is affected by the cessation of operations at Childreach International, please contact us, and we'll talk you through how we can help.
