You can find your full challenge kit list in your Briefing Pack. However, if you’d like to hire kit from our ground agents in-country, you can request to do so here. Please read the terms below carefully before completing the hire request form.
You will not be charged through this website and will have to pay on arrival in-country. All rentals are subject to availability. Completing this form is a request and not a guaranteed hire order.
Do not rely on rental equipment for all of your kit. You should use rental equipment to supplement the gear you have already. Quality and availability of rental items is extremely variable so please do not depend on hiring kit for your essential kit items such as hiking boots.
Please note that all costs are approximate and all items are subject to availability.
Everest Base Camp
For our Everest Base Camp challenge, you will find there are rental shops around central Kathmandu - however do not rely on these completely, as they may lack appropriate sizes.
You can also purchase kit higher up in the mountains when you get to in Namche. You will have the option to purchase walking poles and other equipment should you feel you want them after a few days of trekking.
You can also rent some equipment from our ground team.
If you’d like request to hire items from our ground team in Nepal, please complete this form at least 10 weeks before your departure date.
For our Machu Picchu challenge, you will find there are rental shops around central Cusco - however these may not be reliable and we’d only recommend you rent small items from them, like walking poles.
There are also trekking shops in Cusco, where you can purchase some equipment if you need.
If you wish to hire items from our ground agents, you must submit your request at least 10 weeks before your trip departs.
If you’d like request to hire items from our ground team in Peru, please complete this form.
For our Kilimanjaro challenge, you will find there is a rental shop in your hotel. Your guides will take you to the rental shop after your trek briefing on arrival and help you acquire any items you still need.
You do not need to let our ground agent know ahead of time what equipment you require, but a full list of equipment to hire can be found here.
