New York City Marathon is the largest marathon in the world. Each year, 52,000 runners from all over the world descend on the Big Apple to run 26.2 miles through one of the greatest cities on the planet. Conquering this stunning World Marathon Major is one of the most coveted prizes in sport.
The route begins in Staten Island, crossing into Brooklyn and covering Queens, the Bronx and finally Manhattan before finishing in world-famous Central Park. While not a technically ‘easy’ marathon course, this is one of the most celebrated marathons in the world - and the cheers of thousands of supporters along the entire 26.2 mile course will give you that extra boost you need to cross that all-important finish line.
