THE TREK

The mighty Annapurna Ranges provide the backdrop to this trek to the Base Camp or Annapurna - one of the deadliest mountains in the world. We begin our adventure in vibrant and charming Kathmandu before travelling through Pokhara to begin our trek. Get all the highlights of the Himalaya with this challenge - you'll walk across suspension bridges, hike in the shadow of majestic peaks and take the road slightly less well trodden.

This is a multi day trek to significant altitude (4,110m above sea level) and there are several hours of trekking per day for a total of nine days; you will need to be in good physical shape to complete the challenge. Although acclimatisation is slow and gradual, you will feel the effects of altitude and therefore stamina is essential for all participants.

Our trips are inclusive of accommodation, meals, transport and more, so all you need to do is focus on the challenge ahead!

WHY TREK TO ANNAPURNA BASE CAMP?

We love all of our challenges, but when it comes to adventure, we recognise that everyone has different tastes and personal goals.

Take a look at our top 5 reasons to trek to Annapurna Base Camp with us:

  1. Already been to Everest Base Camp and looking to take on a different challenge but want to get back to Nepal! This is a great route to see a different variety of landscapes in a different region of Nepal.

  2. The route into the mountains is a steady incline over several days, with plenty of time to acclimatise and interact with the local people and culture. It's also a lower maximum altitude than the EBC trek so if you're worried about altitude then this could be a great starting point for a Himalayan hike!

  3. Our expert local guides will teach you all about the local flora, fauna and culture of the Himalaya region on your trek.

  4. No technical skills or specialist climbing gear required - perfect for adventure-seekers and new climbers alike.

  5. Go from mountain to river with our Pokhara white-water rafting extension trip!
