Plymouth Challenge Leader 2017I loved being a Choose a Challenge Leader. It allowed me to work with a great charity, whose work I really agreed with and raise a substantial amount of money for them. I also got to meet a group of new people and learnt a new set of skills to help facilitate my team to raise as much money as possible money. Looking back at uni, the Morocco High Atlas trip and the overall experience I had as a leader are some of my fondest memories.

Plymouth Challenge Leader 2019I wanted to sign up as a Challenger Leader because I wanted something that would challenge me whilst allowing me to support others and fundraise for charity whilst studying. I would recommend signing up as a Challenger Leader if you are interested in developing leadership skills in an informal environment… don’t do what I did and leave it until your final year to do this because I would’ve loved to have been a challenge leader for a second year!

Warwick Challenge Leader 2020Being a Challenge Leader was an insanely cool experience. Both the build up to the challenge by raising money for an amazing charity, alongside climbing the Three Peaks was one of the highlights of my university degree. You will meet many cool people and get outside of your comfort zone which has been so important for me and many others I have spoken to who have been a Challenge Leader!
