We believe that travelling in a way which helps others is a fantastic way to do something incredible, whilst also doing something worthwhile for others.

We work hard to make sure that each student who travels on our challenges has not only an incredible experience, but also a safe one. You can read below about some of the areas in which we strive to make sure that everyone who travels on our challenges has a smooth trip.

Years of Experience

We organised our first Kilimanjaro climb in 2005, and since then have gone on to take over 10,000 people on a wide selection of challenges across the world.

We carefully select our in-country partners based on their experience, track record and ability to meet our ethical tourism standards. This experience allows us to pick hotels that are secure and have 24/7 security, bedrooms that are lockable and maintain well established links with the local major hospital in case any medical checkups are needed. Our guides on the ground are all well trained in first-aid and have many years of safely guiding participants on their challenge.

Trusted Travel Advice

We constantly monitor the travel advice and alerts which are given by the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) and follow any advice that is passed on. You can view the FCO's current advice for travel to all our destinations here:

We ensure that all of our participants hold valid and appropriate travel insurance when they travel on one of our trips. We will provide you with all of the information you need to make sure that you have a policy in place which covers you for all eventualities!

24/7 Support

We have an emergency line which can be called 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. You will always be able to get through to an expert who will be able to provide assistance, no matter what the situation.
