TAKE ACTION NOW TO ENSURE CHILDREN CAN REMAIN SAFE, IN SCHOOL AND LEARNING.

Street Child's purpose is to see all children safe, in school and learning - even, and especially, in low-resource environments and emergencies.

TAKE ON A CHALLENGE FOR STREET CHILD

Thank you for supporting Street Child’s work. We believe your support and fundraising can have a huge impact on our projects and help us deliver life-changing support to children who need it most.

For every donation made, we are able to work with local organisations to ensure sustainable change in communities. Your fundraising means we are able to ensure that children are safe, in school and learning by coupling instantaneous change for children with an increase in the capacities of caregivers, communities and schools we support.

Do something incredible and make a lasting positive impact by taking on a challenge for Street Child. We'll support you all the way and the money you raise could help to transform the lives of the most vulnerable children.

Where will the money be going:

Educating Children - 1 in 10 children are out of school. We work with a network of local partners to ensure every child has access to an education, especially in low resource environments and emergencies. This includes building schools, training teachers, creating income generating activities, and changing attitudes.

Empowering Families - We empower families to care for and educate their children in the long term, by simultaneously tackling social and economic barriers to education. This is achieved through out Family Business for Education approach, the Village Savings and Loans Association, and the Farmers Network Project.

Accelerating Local Level Organisations - We believe supporting local organisations and leveraging local expertise is essential to effective, efficient interventions and to enabling sustainable longer-term impact.

Children in Emergencies - We work to ensure children are safe, in school and learning, even and especially, when they are affected by a humanitarian crisis. Continued access to education sits at the heart of our response. Our work in emergency contexts aims to meet immediate needs and support long-term recovery.

Protecting Children - We are experts in protection programming and our integrated interventions create protective environments to assure safety as well as access to schooling. We offer support through case management for vulnerable children, psychosocial support and counselling, family tracing, and the promotion of sustainable mental health.
