Introducing our 2019 Partners: The Children's Society

Over the next 2 weeks, we're going to be introducing our charity partners for 2019! You'll be able to fundraise for any of these charities if you're taking part one of our 2019 trekking or marathon challenges.

We've worked with The Children's Society since 2013, and since then, we have sent students all over the world together, raising hundreds of thousands of pounds for the charity, who provide services, resources, campaigns, research and lobbying to support vulnerable children in the UK.

We couldn't be happier to continue this partnership in 2019, allowing you to raise for The Children's Society if you take part in one of our challenges next year.

There are children in the UK who feel scared, unloved and like they simply don’t matter.  They’re not seen, they’re not understood, and they aren’t getting the help they need.

In fact, we know that a million children and young people in England are living with seven or more serious problems in their lives.

The Children's Society worked with 13,000 vulnerable children and young people last year, while their campaign wins will bring change to over 3 million.

Meet your charity reps!

Meet Lucy and Sarah, from the Children's Society! These two will be looking after all our challenge leaders and RAGs who choose to work with TCS this year.

Between them, Lucy and Sarah have taken on our Kilimanjaro challenge (twice!), Machu Picchu and our Iceland: Fire & Ice trek. Those of you who came out to Peru with us last year may also recognise Sarah as one of our ICOs!

Our 2019 challenge participants will be supported by Lucy and Sarah as well as Jay, Laura and Leah, the charity's Supporter Engagement Officers - so you know you'll be in safe hands!

We're really excited to have The Children's Society on board as a charity partner, and we hope you'll consider supporting them by joining a challenge in 2019!
