High Altitude Trekking: What to expect?

Having completed many a pre-departure briefings between us one thing we’ve noticed is that most students seem to be nervous about, or unsure of, is the high altitude aspect of the challenge. Having done many treks ourselves, we know that altitude is nothing to be scared of, but it is very important to be aware of and work hard to prevent where possible. Cait's Copenhagen Marathon Weekend

It seems that even weekends when I am going away for a quick city break, I cannot escape marathons. Last weekend (19th-22nd May 2017) I headed to Denmark for a weekend break in Copenhagen. My boyfriend just so happened to be taking part in the Copenhagen Marathon whilst we were out there (yes, I was slightly jealous I wasn’t running!).
