In August 2016 we were lucky enough to move to Tanzania for a month to take on the role of In-country Operatives with Choose a Challenge. Having completed many a pre-departure briefings between us one thing we’ve noticed is that most students seem to be nervous about, or unsure of, is the high altitude aspect of the challenge. Having done many treks ourselves, we know that altitude is nothing to be scared of, but it is very important to be aware of and work hard to prevent where possible. Hopefully this blog will help you!

It seems that even weekends when I am going away for a quick city break, I cannot escape marathons. Last weekend (19th-22nd May 2017) I headed to Denmark for a weekend break in Copenhagen.
